The importance of Quality

Quality is core to everything we do. Our ‘Partnership for Performance’  approach means we work with our customers to deliver the highest quality in everything we do.

At the heart of our quality management system is the team of specialists. They work to ensure the effective implementation of our quality systems and procedures.

Joe Ackers, a qualified Lean Practitioner and ISO 9001 Internal Auditor, has joined Denholm’s as Quality Manager. We welcome him as the newest member of the quality team.

Over the past eighteen years, Joe has built a valuable experience across a range of national and multi-national engineering businesses serving hi-tech sectors including aerospace, nuclear, life sciences and high-end valves and controls.

Joe joins us to take responsibility for quality systems and team management across both of our sites, Denholm’s in Liverpool and C E Edwards in Stoke on Trent.

Another Returner

As we reported here, we have recently added several other new members to our team. Furthermore, for most of them, it is not their first time with Denholm’s/C E Edwards. It is the same for Joe Ackers!

Joe previously worked as both a CNC and manual machine operator in our Pump Shaft Cell – over 20 years ago!

Having seen his career develop over this time, we are really pleased to welcome him back to a senior position within the business.

We look forward to a long working relationship with Joe over the coming years.
