New staff members at Denholm Rees & O’Donnell Home > New staff members at Denholm Rees & O’Donnell

We talk a great deal about the importance of investment in ensuring that Denholms/C E Edwards remain at the forefront in our field.

A great deal of investment focus goes on machinery and equipment, ensuring that we offer the latest technology, efficiently delivering the highest quality.

However, the best company with the latest equipment depends entirely on effective staff to deliver quality service.  As companies strive to balance capability with market fluctuations – as we discuss here – it can become increasingly difficult to train and retain high-quality staff.

At Denholms/C E Edwards, we recognise this challenge and have developed regular apprentice programmes to compliment our ongoing recruitment processes and help ensure our teams are the best in the business.

Over recent weeks we have welcomed several new members to our teams:

Joe Rossall – DRO Production Office

Joe is  involved in all aspects of Goods Inwards including:

  • Production Office Liaison
  • Materials Inspection
  • Materials Certification
  • Materials expediting

At 6’7″ (over 2m) we  think Joe (of course he is now known as ‘Little Joe’) is the tallest member of our team (just a shame his photo doesn’t do him justice – ed)

I’m sure many of you will be talking with Joe in the near future.

Luke Marshall – Machine Operator

In our last newsletter we announced the arrival of our new Doosan Puma 700 Turning Centre and of course any new machine needs a skilled operator.

We are pleased to introduce Luke Marshall whose knowledge will be invaluable in getting the most out of the Puma 700. With several years’ experience operating these sophisticated machines. Luke is a valuable addition to the team.
