C E Edwards is delighted to welcome Chris Alcock as Operations Manager at the Stoke on Trent site. With a wealth of experience in the UK and Europe, Chris is an invaluable addition to the team and the ideal person to help drive the company into an exciting new period of growth and development.
Chris has joined at a positive time for C E Edwards and sister company Denholm Rees & O’Donnell, as they continue to go from strength to strength. In November, both were able to announce another successful financial year for 2012-13, with profits in line with expectations.
As the UK as a whole shows signs of growing economic confidence, C E Edwards is pushing ahead and investing in the future, with major new equipment acquisition and plans to further develop their apprenticeship programme to help ensure well trained, high quality engineers are available to deliver the best service in the years to come.
Chris has a proven track record of helping companies to refine and grow their services, on every scale from local to global. His arrival at C E Edwards brings further expertise and experience onto the team and will aid the company in making strides towards its own expansion goals, while maintaining a focus on quality and strong relationships with clients.
With more than 35 years in the industry, Chris offers an impressive range of skills and knowledge both in practical application on the ground and in strategy and management.
In recent years he has held roles as a Project Manager, Business Development Manager and Production Manager in the North of England and France. He has worked at Newburgh, David Brown and Textron, among others, and Chris is a fully certified Six Sigma Black Belt, and through this, a “hands on” leader of Kaizen / Lean improvement.
Chris is now relishing the prospect of a fresh challenge alongside the dynamic, like-minded team in Stoke.
